Chronic Disease Training

This two-hour course can be combined with any other module for a four-hour minimum.

In each of these modules, participants will learn the signs, symptoms, risk factors, and treatments for the diseases. Other topics include strategies for disease prevention, how to help patients cope with their disease, the relationship of culture and disease, and healthy behaviors.
Module 1: Diabetes and Helping Patients with Chronic Disease
Module 2: Heart Disease and Stroke
Module 3: Hypertension, High Cholesterol, and Asthma
Module 4: Hepatitis A, B, C, and HIV
